Are princess has turned five! Those last five years sure flew by. Maria was so excited that her birthday was finally here. She woke up as soon as Wes left for work. She came upstairs and said "Mommy. Its finally my Birthday!!!" She has waited for this day for so long, well since February 10th that is. Earlier in the week she keep asking me, "Am I going to have two birthday's like Connor and Julia?" Luckily Grandma Phyllis said we could come over to celebrate with them so she could have "two birthday's". Friday was really nice. After school we stopped by Grandma Sherri's and she got a bike from Grandpa Brian and Grandma Sherri. Later that afternoon we went over to Grandpa Hank and Grandma Phyllis for Maria's mini party. Grandpa seemed to be feeling pretty well and Grandma was in a great mood. Wes's picked up Long John Silvers for dinner and we had a nice little party just the eight of us. Grandma gave her some money for her birthday so Maria was very excited. She asked if we could go shopping :) Next we stopped over at Grandma Theresa's and Grandpa Walt's. Maria got her "Teen girl" clothes that she asked Grandma for. Next Trevor and Jenna came over for a little visit and Trevor got her another doll to go with her Wizard of Oz collection. It was a great day. Saturday we join the rest of the family at Chuck E Cheese. It really turned out to be a great party. I wasn't too excited about it at first. I was thinking it was going to be crazy with kids every where but it really wasn't that bad. It was actually a lot better then having to stress about having the house clean and then cleaning up the mess after :) Maria had a blast. It was everything she wanted (or that she saw on the TV commercial, lol). She got a ton of great presents and Grandma Sherri's cake was amazing a usual. I got to say her cake was the best one there! We are so blessed to have such an amazing family who cares so much about our little girl. We love you all so much. Thank you for making this a birthday Maria will remember.
